MHT understands the importance of developing a solid understanding of the ever-evolving technological world in which we live.  All classrooms are equipped with projectors and there is wireless access throughout the campus. Students in 3rd to 6th grades have access to classroom sets of iPads.  In 2018, we started to implement our 1:1 Chromebook program for junior high. In the coming years, all of junior high will have access to Chromebooks. 

Computer instruction includes Internet Safety, ethical use of the Internet, and developing online research skills.  At all levels, the skills learned in the computer lab will assist our students with their schoolwork and projects at home.  Our students graduate MHT proficient in common programs as well as light programming.

Kindergarten

  • Keyboard exploration

  • Familiarity with the mouse

First and Second Grades

  • Introduction to basic keyboarding skills

  • Introduction to word processing and PowerPoint

  • Introduction to online researching skills

Third and Fourth Grades

  • Develop keyboarding skills

  • Refine presentation skills

Fifth through Eighth Grades
